Once you have seen and heard a magnificent red deer during the “roar” you will understand while for ages these extremely handsome large antlered deer were considered “the King’s deer” which could only be hunted by royalty. Thankfully these days they can be hunted by all who admire and love the majestic red deer.
The red deer hunt begins in early September. The culmination depends on the conditions of the year, but it is usually until the first days of October when is the most attractive hunt – during the mating period, when the whole territory of the SHR Kormisosh resound by the roaring of the marriage deers.
Hunting season:
• Male and offspring – from 1 September to 31 January
• Female – from 1 October to 31 December
