New national record for a wild goat trophy!
The trophy, obtained in early May 2025 within the framework of an organized hunting tourism, evaluated with 121,65 points according to the CIC system (International Council for Hunting and Game Conservation). This score officially improves on the previous record set in 1938. The international jury was composed of senior hunting trophy evaluators and members of the CIC Trophy Evaluation Commission – Aleksandar Ceranic, Serbia; Prof. Miroslav Vach, Czech Republic and prof. Nino Ninov, Bulgaria.
This is the second international recognition for a national achievement, following that for a wild boar trophy in 1986, which was assessed at 158.20 CIC points.
Both medals remain in the asset of the “Kormisosh” SHR, as they were realized by Bulgarian hunters, with proper authorization, according to the Biodiversity Act, which guarantees the legality and ethics of
hunting.
Another indicator of a successful partnership, properly targeted investment policy, long-term planned hunting and management activities and their excellent implementation.
